Our mission is to provide safe, welcoming, and energy-efficient housing for individuals and families who live independently. We are not a nursing home and do not offer medical, personal care, or daily living assistance — residents are responsible for their own support and day-to-day needs.
The Maitland Family Housing Project features 46 thoughtfully designed suites:

31 Three-Bedroom Units (1.5 bathrooms) – $1,560/month

3 Two-Bedroom Units (1 bathroom) – $1,260/month

12 One-Bedroom Units (1 bathroom) – $1,060/month

Housing Options
At ALEHS, we offer a range of housing options to meet the diverse needs of our community:

Market Suites – Standard rental units at fair market value.

Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) – Rent is based on your household income, making housing more affordable for individuals and families earning between $44,000 and $69,000 annually.

Deep Subsidy Units – Designed to support tenants with lower or fixed incomes by offering additional rent assistance.
